Especially for rice cake, I usually keep the leftover in fridge for 3 days and they`re just fine. But I often heard that people here used to freeze the cooked rice in aliquots (each is prepared for single serving) separately wrapped with cling wrap. So, I think that would work too for the rice cake, although you might better cut the cake into pieces after you defrost and heat it again. It seems to me that freezing the pieces might cause them to clump later and thus break the pieces (not in a good way) when reheated.<br />Hope you enjoy the rice cake! And the spicy salmon stew really sounds wonderful!Arudhihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02874429351297411042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161866987759217870.post-33620620559878786042011-04-14T02:35:46.207+09:002011-04-14T02:35:46.207+09:00I am loving your website! Can you freeze the rice cake pieces to use for later if you don't want to use them right away?Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07283795276301877758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161866987759217870.post-60216488966484173392011-02-03T10:40:06.956+09:002011-02-03T10:40:06.956+09:00Iie, sama-sama. But if I have to make them by myself, this will be the only method. Quick and easy! Thanks again, Ellie!Arudhihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02874429351297411042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161866987759217870.post-2913466960539975832011-02-01T05:35:19.922+09:002011-02-01T05:35:19.922+09:00I am so glad you like this method. We call it nasi impit when it's done with leaves. Yours look good and thanks for the shout-out!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161866987759217870.post-46401153274562282512011-02-01T03:30:35.371+09:002011-02-01T03:30:35.371+09:00This is something I have never made.
